    >I love deep breathing! My mom used to get annoyed, b/c she thought I was sighing melodramatically, and she’d tell me to stop acting like my life is so difficult. It is very satisfying though! Good luck!As for other deep breathing, my wise friend Kimberly suggested the 5-2-7 method: breathe in for a count of 5, hold for two, then out for 7. It’s very relaxing.

    >that IS a lot.a really good pranayama to prepare for meditation is the alternate nostril breathing. too complicated for me to explain right now, but the count is inhale for x, hold for 2x, exhale for 4x.whatever it is, i’m glad you’re considering it. i think if everyone even just did ONE a day, the world would be a better place.
