>censor/ship has sailed…

November 27, 2006 § 15 Comments

>It’s been another great weekend. I’ve seen Ellen, Aimee (she’s a real person), Isaiah, and a few other fabulous friends. There’s been catching up, new discoveries around the city, and free furniture from the street. One thing we found is a pink Hello Kitty television that works, so I’m planning on springing for a dvd/vhs player. (I still need a bed, which is on my shopping list this week.)

This weekend, I got to interact with the man who discovered Bob Dylan and with Dylan’s ex-girlfriend, who is pictured on his album. They were both kind of snobby. I guess I might be too. It was still exciting for me as a big Dylan fan.

Bigger news is that I’m trying to decide if I should give up on blogging. I’ve been finding that everything I want to write could be used against me in a court of law. Not really, but I definitely am treading a thin line when it comes to the main thing on my mind: finding someone to share my air mattress with me. I don’t know if there’s room on my air mattress for my blog, too. So, I’m thinking I may have to kick it to the curb. I’m sad to say goodbye, but I don’t want to get myself into trouble.

    >HELLO!! I OFFERED you my VCR!! I’ll be really pissed if you go out and buy one. Should I leave it for you downstairs in my lobby? I wouldn’t bother getting a DVD player- you have your computer, and the HK TV screen is not much bigger than that…Also, keep blogging, just use CODENAMES!! Don’t let anyone you date know about your blog until you’re serious, and then it will be flattering.Really great time hanging out with you. Love you, miss you.

  • Gili says:

    >okay, leave it downstairs if you remember. text me or leave me a message if you leave it in the lobby. i have to go over near your home tomorrow to drop by the dmv. otherwise, i’ll make my parents buy me one.new york already misses you again. so do i.

  • >No, no, no! Start a private blog! You can just invite the people who you want to read your stuff.Funny: I also gave a sigh of relief when I met Aimee. I knew she was real, but it was nice to confirm it with my own eyes.

  • Aimee says:

    >1,000% w/paulette!!! private blog! you’re already on beta, so you can do that! do NOT stop blogging. hello, you have a SHIRT now that came about b/c of yr blog!!! how can you stop now???! :)soooo funny. i was just thinking: what if i WASN’T a real person??? how fun would that be? well, i’d probably get kind of depressed (not like i don’t already from time to time) b/c i wasn’t a real person, but that would be funny. maybe that should be our next big collaborative art project: creating a person who isn’t real.but first: GO PRIVATE!!

  • Gili says:

    >aimee, that’s so jt leroy and i’m so not happy about how that went down. do you know who that was or was supposed to be? if not, google jt leroy for the drama that ensued.i’m very glad you’re a real person. still making my mind up about what to do in regards to my blog and privacy.

  • Gili says:

    >p.s. hi paulette. how are you????

  • Aimee says:

    >mmm, that was way too much reading for me, but i get the idea. no, not so much like a BIG FAMOUS money-making fake person. maybe just one we all make up and contribute posts to for a blog. but that was just me being amused at the idea of ME not being real.it’s almost 130 and i haven’t really gotten that much done. and my computer has crashed about four times today. ug.you have time. keep mulling until you get to a decision that feels good.

  • ByTheBay says:

    >But… but… I LOVE your blog! Maybe you could try a totally anonymous blog? It was so nice seeing you, maybe I will move out there and we can see eachother more often and in a lessed rush way.

  • Aimee says:

    >you can still invite lots of people to read the blog. just not the ones you want to sleep with.

  • polarchip says:

    >Oh geeze, we left the apt @ 5 AM this morning, I was so tired I totally forgot to leave the VCR. Can you wait until my mom is in town next time? It would be such a waste for you to buy a new one.

  • >Hi Gili! I’m okay. What are you doing in NYC?

  • Gili says:

    >Paulette,I’m really not sure. Just kind of soaking it all in. So far, so good. How are your international adventures??Polarchip,Don’t worry, I can wait. There may be one on the street at some point. I’m not stressed about it.

  • >I’m so intrigued. It’s funny how people end up in NY, isn’t it? Too bad our timing was so off–you would’ve loved to have met my dog, Paco. He stinks. I’m happy to see you settling in.International adventures? Where? No adventures here.Pauly

  • Gili says:

    >well, if not adventures, then what? what’s new? i want to read your blog. may i?

  • >Hahaa, nothing is new. I’m just eating a lot. Yes, please read my blog. You can email me at paulettasaurus at gmail and I’ll invite you. Paco sends you a stink and a hug.
