>Not Peter Dinklage

December 11, 2006 § 3 Comments

Guess what? I saw another famous person on the street five minutes ago. I was heading to my brow wax (FINALLY!) and Wallace Shawn was trying to break down the Village East Cinemas doors. What is up with me seeing very short men? Okay, it’s only two, but still. Lots of people looked excited to see him. I didn’t say anything. It was a magical moment, so I knew the brow wax would be great. Loved him in “The Princess Bride” and in “Sex and the City.”

Turns out, I’m pretty sure I’ve been to this brow wax place before. I think Ellen took me once a long time ago. It might have been my very first time ever. They were fast and furious and I’m happy with the results.

All my errands are complete (except I’m mid-laundry right now) which is a miracle. Today is beautiful and sunny and I’m loving running around.

Song of the day is dedicated to Ellen:
Rollercoaster By The Sea: Jonathan Richman. Here are the lyrics.

    >What a perfect song! I just read the lyrics, I’m going to see if I can find a MP3 of it somewhere. David’s dad looks like Wallace Shawn! I haven’t seen him in S&TC, but I’m planning to watch the entire thing as soon as the library has all the DVD’s. Trying to break down Village East Cinema’s doors?

    >wow, that’s not at all how i pictured david’s dad. hillarity. you might be able to find that song on you tube. i’ll look for it. i can always burn it for you.yeah, he was pulling and pulling and kind of freaking out about it being locked. it was so weird and yet, it seemed like exactly what he should be doing.in s&tc he plays murphy brown’s love interest. i’m a big fan of both of them…

  • >Brow wax! Have you tried threading?God, I hate how you and Aimee make NY sound fun. It wasn’t fun when I was there… Now I want to go visit.
