>Friends and Aikido, what else?

April 22, 2009 § Leave a comment

Veronica took me to Billy’s Bakery to belatedly celebrate my birthday.

She also gave me her favorite Romanian book, translated into English, Nostalgia by Mircea Cartarescu. I’ve been reading Allegra Goodman’s Intuition, which is all about politics within a science lab, so I feel like I’m gaining a great deal of insight into Veronica’s work life.

I filled up on Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie before Aikido.

Veronica ate Cherry Cheesecake. I think cheesecake is disgusting and she thinks peanut butter is disgusting, so we didn’t share.

I’m about to collapse from all the Aikido. I’m going to push for three classes tomorrow. Now I just need to find a job that can work around my Aikido schedule.
