>A strong reaction will occur.

April 28, 2009 § 1 Comment

After a couple of increasingly feverish days in Iowa, we flew back to New York. On our first flight, my fever was really high. I ended up passing out in my seat, my head hitting my knees and I made a quick trip to the unconscious life. When I came to, I vomited all over my legs and Joseph’s right side. The strange part was that nobody else on the plane seemed to notice.

I’m feeling a lot better now. It helps to recover in my own bed, the windows open, eighty degrees outside, and no casinos in sight.

Do not take this girl out of the city; a strong reaction will occur.

(Pictured: Joe’s freshly-washed Popple and Bunny–transplants from Iowa– who comforted and cleaned me after fainting and throwing up.)
