We decided to offer up our gingerbread house to the birds of McGolrick Park.

But the pigeons didn’t seem to know what to do with our gift.

When we realized that the house was strong enough to hold Joe’s weight, we understood why the pigeons weren’t biting.

Upon demolition, a feeding frenzy finally began.

Goodbye, gingerbread house; 2010.
